Just sharing one of the post I stumbled upon written by Nix Niego, a no non-sense SEO specialist, which talks about SEO copywriting tips especially for startup digital copywriters.

I see a lot of people try so hard, writing content with ‘out of this world’ vocabulary…
Only to get around 4 likes, and a one-way ticket to Facebook purgatory.
You don’t need to write like you’re the 2nd coming of Shakespeare if you want to communicate your message on social media. (unless you are in the Literary field)
You need to SPEAK the LANGUAGE of your AUDIENCE.
One of the basic lessons I Iearned in ‘writing’ was to always write as if I’m talking to a 5th grader.
People don’t wanna think and Google the words you’re saying. Nobody got time for that!
You can create engaging, compelling, entertaining, or educational content without using super flowery words.
People will relate more to what you’re saying if they can understand you right off the bat.
Start dropping the complicated words, and start speaking the language of your audience.
Do that, and see the immediate surge on your content’s engagement.
